Cost and Monthly Charge

At this current time, the cost of a unit is £99.99, plus post and packing. Purchases can be made via Paypal on the Welcome Page. There will be a monthly charge of £10 per unit. This is to pay for the telecom charges and the server/ back office charges.

This pricing scheme is correct at the current time.

Will it cost me any more?

For your monthly subscription charge, you will be charged no more for the basic service. You will receive location positions every quarter of an hour within this price, as well as the history function. You will be able to set boundaries, and all email warnings and correspondence will be free.

What will cost more?

There will be charges for the Panic Mode, sms boundary alerts and sms poll now features. Currently these will be offered for free whilst the system is in beta mode.

Will I be tied into a contract?

Yes, you will have to commit to 12 months usage.

What happens if I want to return it?

There will be a 30 day money back guarantee. We will refund your original £99.99 via Paypal once we have safe return of the tracker.

Why would I not receive a signal?

We will be mainly using Orange sims within the UK. You can check your coverage using this link: http://web.orange.co.uk/coverage/?channel=direct/.

We can offer other sim cards if you know that you receive better coverage with another network provider. We will need to be told in advance, and terms and conditions may then change.

What’s the difference between sms polling and standard reporting?

The standard reports sent every 15 minutes use GPRS, effectively they contact the internet direct via the mobile phone network. SMS messaging uses GSM, which requires a lower signal strength. There will be a delay of up to 4 minutes whilst the signal is sent and received.

How long will the battery last?

This will vary upon the signal strength, whether the tracker is in panic mode and the number of sms sent. However, we estimate that in standard tracking mode, reporting once every quarter of an hour, the tracker will last for one week.

Recharging the tracker takes approximately 3 hours. A charger will be supplied, and this fits snugly onto the tracker to recharge.
