Standard Tracking

The Pawtrack unit "wakes up" every 15 minutes, and if it can receive a signal will send this information back to the server.

You will be able to look at the status of the tracker from the status page at pawtrack.com. Here you will see when the tracker last reported in, whether it has a good GPS signal, and the level of the battery power (so you will know when to power up).

Geofencing

A fancy name for a simple idea. From the Pawtrack web site you will be able to drawup an imaginery fence around the unit's last position.

If your pet wanders out of the boundary, then you will be sent an sms and an email alerting you to this.

The fence can be set for a boundary of 100m, 200m and up to 1Km. The fence can then be reset via the web site.

The History Function

Ever wondered what your pet got up to overnight? The history facility alows you to see where your pet has been on any particular night or day.

The server will store all the data, enabling you to go back over the months to see where your pet goes, has been and might well go again.

Panic Mode & Immediate SMS poll

Pawtrack is there to recover your pet, and to reduce the time of stress and worry when they disappear.

Pawtrack offers two solutions. The first is an immediate sms enquiry sent to the collar- rather than wait until the next transmission, an sms is sent straight to the device, which in turn will respond immediately by sms. This has the advantage of still working in poor signal areas.

As well as this, the tracker can be put into alarm mode, and start transmitting location information every 4 minutes, meaning that you will be able to follow your pet's movement, and locate as soon as a signal is sent.
